Robert Downey Junior, Cameron Diaz, Sir Ben Kingsley, X-Men star Hugh Jackman and director Tim Burton are the latest celebrities to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

They will join disco band The Village People, Peter Pan character Tinker Bell, singer Shakira and Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman.

The new stars will be unveiled on Hollywood Boulevard next year.

The 25 celebrities were chosen as always by members of The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee.

AdvertisementThey join another 2,000 pink five-pointed stars embedded in the pavement dedicated to stars, both real and fictional, for their contributions to the entertainment industry.

The first star was awarded to the late Joanne Woodward in February 1960.
